Increase in aviation fuel prices: Travel fares to rise

 

 

The price of aviation turbine fuel, which is used by commercial aircraft, has increased for the second consecutive month. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the price of ATF has been increased by Rs 6.28 per liter. With this, it has increased from Rs 115 to Rs 121.28 per liter.

Fuel cost is one of the biggest expenses of airlines. The new price hike may lead to an increase in air fares.
