Kathakali Training Centre to Open in China

 

 

The Kathakali school at Cheruthuruthy is set to launch a Kathakali training centre in China. Kalamandalam Gopalakrishnan, the director of the school, stated that the centre is being established in collaboration with the Chinese company Changsha Xinxi Cultural Company, following an invitation from the Chinese Ministry of Culture. The Cheruthuruthy Kathakali school operates under the Union Ministry of Culture.
