There are indications that Orkut—once a highly popular social networking platform that ceased operations over a decade ago—is preparing for a comeback. The founder has urged users to help revive the platform, emphasizing values such as friendship, community connections, and genuine human closeness.

In a post shared on X on Thursday, Orkut founder Orkut Büyükkökten asked users to visit Orkut.com, register their names to show support for the platform's return, and invite others to do the same.
