Protests Intensify in France

 

 

Protests are intensifying in France against the rising cost of living and cuts to education funding. Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez announced that 70,000 police officers have been deployed across the country in anticipation of potential large-scale unrest. Security measures include the use of helicopters, armored vehicles, and water cannons. So far, 135 people have been arrested in connection with the protests, and a number of weapons have been seized.
