WestJet Airlines Signs Codeshare Partnership Agreement with Qatar Airways

 

 

WestJet Airlines has announced the signing of a new codeshare partnership agreement with Qatar Airways, aimed at making travel to Doha more convenient. WestJet will begin placing its airline code on non-stop flights operated by Qatar Airways from the Canadian cities of Toronto and Montreal to Doha. There are also plans to extend this codeshare arrangement to additional destinations beyond Doha in the future.

Passengers traveling under this codeshare agreement will benefit from seamless connections, the opportunity to earn WestJet loyalty rewards throughout their journey, and the convenience of having their baggage checked through directly to their final destination. Conversely, Qatar Airways will also place its code on WestJet flights departing from Toronto and Montreal. This will allow Qatar Airways passengers to connect to 11 Canadian cities, including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, St. John’s, and Winnipeg.
